Twenty billion rupees budget approved for Faisalabad, DCO


Faisalabad:
Administrator City District Government /District Coordination Officer sanctioned the development budget of rupees 20 Billion 50 crore and 87 lac for the new financial year/
DCO has allocated more funds as compared to the previous year for the heath facilities in the district. 58.25 percent has been increased for the purchase of medicines and to improve the general condition of the hospitals.118.25 percent has been increased to the Tehsil Hospitals and Basic Health Units for the electricity expenditures. Double electricity connections will be provided

DCO has allocated more funds as compared to the previous year for the heath facilities in the district. 58.25 percent has been increased for the purchase of medicines and to improve the general condition of the hospitals.118.25 percent has been increased to the Tehsil Hospitals and Basic Health Units for the electricity expenditures. Double electricity connections will be provided  to them to ensure uninterrupted power supply. DCO told that Tehsil Headquarter Hospital Summundari, Chack Jhumra and Jarawala has been provided with an increase of 100 percent to provide air conditioners.

Latest machinery is being provided to Civil Defence department to meet the emergency situations and 386 percent has been increased. For plantation in the district 2.5 million rupees have been allocated.

DCO expected a budget-income of One billion , 64 crore and 34 lacs rupees while Punjab Government will provide 17 billion 21 crores and 30 lacs rupees.  12 crore 97 lacs have been allocated for the public welfare schemes.
