Mayor announces to remove encroachments from the eight bazaars in Faisalabad


Faisalabad – The newly elected Mayor of Faisalabad from Rana Sana Ullah Group PML-N, Muhammad Razzak Malik has announced to remove the encroachments from the all eight bazaars of Faisalabad which are the main hub of business and trade.

The mayor has issued a warning to all the persons involved in the encroachments to voluntarily remove them failing which action will be started against them. These encroachments have almost covered the three fourth of the roads and almost all the footpaths in the main bazaars of the second largest city of Punjab.

In the past years, steps were taken to remove the encroachments but gave no results. The historical clock tower of Faisalabad is also under the influence of encroachments. The mayor after taking oath has given the warning to remove the encroachments from the area.All the eight bazaars, Katchery Bazaar, Rail Bazaar, Chiniot Bazaar, Aminpur Bazaar, Bhawana Bazaar, Montgomery Bazaar, Karkhana Bazaar have been illegally occupied and creating a problem for the citizens to move freely in them. Most of the times traffic remains jam in the bazaars and pedestrians also find no path to walk.
