In a meeting presided by Director Private Schools, it was decided to induct Sindhi as a compulsory subject from class three. The private schools who will increase more than 5 percent in their tuition fee will face action from the department and crack down will be initiated against unregistered schools.
The meeting of Education Department Sindh was held in Karachi headed by Dr Mansoob Sadiqi which was attended by all directors private schools from all over the Sindh.
In the meeting, it was decided to bound all private schools to teach Sindhi from grade three and in the light of court order fee should not be increased more than 5 percent annually.
It was also decided that keeping in view the safety of the children/students in the school all the water tanks, digs and gutters should also be kept covered . The school who will not observe the directions will face cancellation of their registration.
Unregistered school should get registered with the department within a month failing which action will be taken against them resulting in the closure of the schools.
